HelloSaarthi EduCards are based on Augmented Reality that brings learning objects to life, for self-experiential and augmented learning. Text can bring a mind to imagine products, but cannot provide a realistic visual or feel. Whereas, education can become more interesting for kids if they are somehow enabled to interact with the objects they are learning. It shall make learning easier for kids to understand and grasp. This is where the HelloSaarthi EduCards step in. For example, A kid who has not seen a tiger before, but is made to learn T for tiger, may get uninterested and unmotivated. But, if T for Tiger starts roaring and walking in front of the kid, in a real-like manner, he is sure to get interested. He may actually end up learning much more about the tiger and its characteristics unintentionally.
Once the cards are bought, the viewer is required to download HelloSaarthi EduCards application from the Google Play store free of cost. Once downloaded, the cards and their augmented reality aspect can be activated by merely scanning them through an android smart-phone or a tablet.
These cards are being created for kids of all levels. Thus, they are also a viable learning tool for the developing minds of secondary school levels. Currently, we are developing them as virtual laboratories of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics amongst others. The learner shall be able to see, feel and experiment with elements, structures, mechanics, electronics, currents, etc. the way they are in real life, minus the danger aspect in their experimentation. For example: we know well what an atom is as per the pictures seen in textbooks. But, its realistic power and functions require powerful microscopes to be seen and analyzed. These microscopes, telescopes and other hi-tech gadgets are a costly affair and thus, available only in well-stocked labs. It restricts the knowledge of a student, leaving him with partial or no realistic knowledge of elements/objects in question. With our HelloSaarthi EduCards, these kids can scan the card pertaining to oxygen, and see its gaseous form right down to its atoms as well as experience its feel, color, etc.
